Welcome back to the Tidewater Farmhouse! This go around we’ll take a quick peek in the dining room.
It is accessed through the open doorway in the foyer below…
or the French doors on the left in the living room.
During the original renovation of the home, the owners had the wainscoting replicated from the foyer and applied to the dining room walls.
We extended the linen white trim color from the foyer and living room into the space. For the walls, we selected a green-gray. It “reads” like a neutral putty shade and flows beautifully from the surrounding rooms.
The sophisticated hue complements the owners’ painted server, pine hutch and Audubon prints reflected in the mirror.
To complete the dining room vignette, a fabulous pair of wooden bead sconces was added to brighten the interior space.
Hope you enjoyed our tour of the Tidewater Farmhouse!
